Issue/Introduction

Does CEMELDAP need to be running on all LPARS in the sysplex?  What about the other CEM tasks?

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : CA COMPLIANCE EVENT MANAGER

Resolution

When running CEM in a sysplex environment, all of CEM's listener tasks (Alert,Monitor,Wharehouse,Logger) must reside on each LPAR being monitored.  Only one CEMELDAP started task needs to run, and it needs to reside on the same LPAR the Policy MAPDB resides.  Also, you only need one CEMETOM task running, and it is recommended to reside on the same LPAR where LDAP and MAPDB reside.
