Top Secret Top Secret - LDAP WEB ADMINISTRATOR FOR TOP SECRET

Issue/Introduction

When the LOCKTIME is met, is there a period of time for the user has to reverify their password BEFORE being logged off?

Example: LOCKTIME=020,LTLOGOFF=YES.... after 20 minutes of inactivity is the user logged off immediately or does he have xx minutes to retain his session by entering password?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

With LOCKTIME=020 and LTLOGOFF=YES, after 20 minutes of terminal inactivity, the terminal is locked and a user will have to re-enter their password to resume their terminal session.

If the user doesnt have activity after another 20 minutes, the user will be forced logged off because LTLOGOFF=YES.

So its a total of 40 minutes of inactivity will the user actually get logged off if there is no terminal activity by the user.
