WA Agent for SAP: Plugin with SAP JCo 3.0.20 shows JCO_ERROR_CONFIGURATION error

Issue/Introduction

When the SAP plugin is installed, the Agent may not start and shows the following error in SAP plugin logs.

“JCO_ERROR_CONFIGURATION: Parameter message server host ('jco.client.mshost') is missing”

Release : 11.3/11.4/11.5

Component : Workload Automation Agent for SAP

Cause

The SAP JCO 3.0.19 worked differently due to some of the defects.  They have been fixed by SAP in the newer release of JCo.

Resolution

A test fix is available for 11.5 which allows the SAP Plugin to work with JCo 3.0.20.  Contact Broadcom Support for the test fix.
