Issue/Introduction

Due to outdated hardware, we are unable to upgrade our VMTP to the latest version. Can we run the collectors and the console on different version in ADA?

   

Environment

Release : 10.6

Component : NQSAMC - NETQOS SA MGMT CONSOLE

Cause

MTP hardware (CA6000 and CA6300) were EOL'd and only support VMTP software up to version 11.0.2.

Resolution

We do not recommend running collectors and consoles on different versions. These configurations have not been tested and can lead to unforeseen issues. Additionally, if an issue does pop up, it would be difficult to provide support/development engagement until the software is being run within Broadcom's recommendations
