Portlet errors/hangs when filtering on large data in GCP/Postgres

Issue/Introduction

Receive error after about 3-4 minutes in our custom timesheet portlet:

 

Error 500 - Internal Server Error. The server could not retrieve the document due to server-configuration or other technical problems. Contact your site administrator.

Release : 15.8.1

Component : CA PPM SAAS STUDIO

Cause

Use of views such as DWH views can cause a slow down.

Resolution

Replace the DWH views in the portlet query with direct table access. If assistance is needed with this, please contact Broadcom support to see if there is anything further that can be done to assist.
