Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Sysview for DB2 (IDB2) both NATURAL-DB2 and AUTHFAIL-OBJECT are being flagged as undefined.

The Data Collector startup shows the following:

REQUEST CSTAUDS6 FROM STARTUP
UNDEFINED IQL VARIABLE NATURAL-DB2.

REQUEST CSTPFAIL FROM STARTUP
MISSPELLED RESERVED WORD OR LITERAL AUTHFAIL-OBJECT

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : CA SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS (IDB2)

Cause

Both NATURAL-DB2 and AUTHFAIL-OBJECT variables are no longer defined in IDB2 r20,and should not be referenced in user defined IQL.

Resolution

Both NATURAL-DB2 and AUTHFAIL-OBJECT variables are no longer used in r20.  It is important that after upgrading to r20 you ensure any user IQL or sysparm member is derived from the r20 release.  In this particular case, recommendation was made to review the shipped r20 Authfail and Audclas6 from the r20 cdbatreq library and make the necessary adjustments to the correlating custom IQL in the REQUESTS library.
