Audit Trail tab not visible in Projects

Issue/Introduction

Why are users unable to see the Audit Trail tab in Projects?

Environment

Release : All supported releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS APPLICATION

Cause

In the Portlet Page, Audit Trail is not Active

Resolution

1. Find the Page Layout used on the Project
2. Go to Administration>>Portlet Pages
3. Search for the Page Layout
4. Click on the Page Layout>>Tabs
5. Check the Active box for the Audit Trail.  Save
6. Go to the Properties tab
7. Click 'Publish'

 

Additional Information

*The changes will not take effect on existing projects unless the page is published.

If after the page layout has been published, there is still some random project that does not show the Audit Trail tab proceed as follows:

1. As affected user > Open the project > Click on Manage Project tabs (spanner icon or +/- icon)
2. Click on Restore Defaults
