How to prevent Spectrum from modeling certain pingable devices

Issue/Introduction

 

We would like to prevent Spectrum trap based auto discovery from modeling certain devices that were previously discovered as a Pingable device.

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

The modeling options for trap-based auto-discovery are global for the entire VNM\Spectro Server so can't do anything there.

The best option would be to exclude the IP Addresses from the VNM Settings on each landscape you don't want these devices to be modeled:

VNM > Information > Modeling and Protocol Options > IP Exclusion List
