Does Windows need to be activated in order for the Symantec Management Platform (SMP - or Altiris) to function normally?

Resolution

No, Microsoft Windows does not need to be activated in order for the SMP to function properly but Symantec/Broadcom does recommend you activate Windows at your soonest convenience.
