Sometimes the need may exist to run a test that simulates it comes from many different users, each running on their own IP address.
How can this be achieved?
Blazemeter's infrastructure prevents and hence does not support IP Spoofing that would allow a test to simulate it is running from many different IP addresses.
The only way to test multiple originating IP addresses is to allocate as many engines as IP addresses are needed and to run the test from that many engines. E.g. if you want to simulate a test running from 500 different IP addresses, configure the test to run for 500 users and set the maximum users per engine to 1. This article explains how to do that.
Of course your billing plan needs to allow allocating that many engines.
