TSSMAINA job abends formatting large Top Secret Audit Tracking File

Issue/Introduction

Formatting a large Top Secret Audit Tracking File using TSSMAINS and it abends with:

IGD17051I ALLOCATION FAILED FOR DATA SET

TSS.REL44.AUDIT.NEW

, REQUESTED SPACE EXCEEDS 65,535 TRKS

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

Problem occurs with other utilities when creating large files not just Top Secret files.

Files that are larger than 65,535 tracks require DSNTYPE=LARGE on the DD statement for the file.

Currently the Top Secret Audit Tracking file larger than 65,535 is not supported.
