Release Automation Perspective Times Out

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to access the Release Automation Perspective, it times out for some users with an error similar at start to:

could not execute query [ SELECT TOP (@p0) this_.Id as Id77_5_, this_1_.Version as Version77_5_, this_1_.Name as Name77_5_, this_1_.Description as Descript4_77_5_, this_1_.CreationTime as Creation5_77_5_, this_1_.Creator as Creator77_5_, this_1_.LastChanged as LastChan7_77_5_, this_1_.LastModifiedBy as LastModi8_77_5_, this_1_.IsArchived as IsArchived77_5_, this_.DplPkgId as DplPkgId125_5_, this_.WfId as WfId125_5_, 

Cause

The user profile may be incorrectly caching data.

Release : 12.1

Component : RELEASE MANAGER

Resolution

Please clear the profile for that user, log out, and log back in.

You can clear the profile by finding an object that the user is the owner of and clicking on the user link under 'owner'. You will get a popup with the clear profile option:
