Issue/Introduction

Restoring SMS controlled uncompressed VSAM data sets to a data class that allows compression can cause the restore to fail with message 2520, RC=109 if the data set is not eligible for compression.

Resolution

CIRCUMVENTION:                                                           
Direct the restore to use a data class that does not allow compression either by using the DATACLAS parm or changes to your ACS routine.

Or 

Apply the PTF SO14839 to fix the problem.
