CA Harvest Software Change Manager CA Harvest Software Change Manager - OpenMake Meister


After upgrading from SCM v12.6 to SCM v13.0.4 on a Windows server we encountered a database error.  We had to restore the database from a backup and use HDBSetup to upgrade the database schema again.  But when we did we got an error message:

Error running password encryption.  Check log enclog.log for details.

We uninstalled the CA Harvest Software Change Manager V13 Server 64 Bit Refresh Pack to return the SCM Server component to v13.0.3.  We then ran hdbsetup with "UR" option again. This time it succeeded. After this we reinstalled the CAHarvestSCMV1304RefreshPackServer.exe to restore the broker to v13.0.4.
