Issue/Introduction

Do all the datasets for JCLMASTR DDname need  to be allocated in the SCHD clist?

Environment

Release : 11.0

Component : CA SCHEDULER MVS

Resolution

The JCLMASTR DDname does not need to be allocated in the SCHD clist.   CA Scheduler TSO online interface will allocate the JCLMASTR DDname and the data sets that is found in the CA Scheduler started task.   It will also allocate other JCL DDname that it finds in the CA Scheduler started task.

Note:   The CARPROC dd and the the datasets must be defined in the SCHD clist.   If not defined, the message CARPROC dd statement is missing is displayed when issuing the DEXPAND command.
