Issue/Introduction

Using the following URL (HTTP://hostname:port/arcotadmin/arcotadmin.htm or HTTPS://hostname:port/arcotadmin/arcotadmin.htm to access the configured Admin fails with error below (hostname has been masked with "xxxx" and port 9446 used in this example)

SRVE0255E : A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /arcotadmin/arcotadmin.htm has not been defined

SRVE0255E : A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle   xxxxxxxxx.xx.xxx.xxxxx:9446 has not been defined 

 

Cause

Incorrect IP / Port specified to resource - /arcotadmin/arcotadmin.htm

Resolution

Correctly form the URL using the IP / Port for the CA Advanced Authentication Administration Console configured in WebSphere.
