Startup order for CA 7, CA Datacom/AD, CAS9/CAIRIM and CA ENF

Issue/Introduction

We are in the process of upgrading CA-7 R11.3 to R12.1 using CA Datacom/AD. I am trying to add the started task AD15MUF to CA-OPS/MVS so that it will come up after the IPL. 

What are the parent tasks for CA Datacom/AD task AD15MUF - Is it only CAS9, or do CAS9 and ENF need to start before AD15MUF gets started?

Resolution

In terms of the start order, CAS9 should load the CA Datacom PC module DBPCCPR, and then you should start the AD15MUF task. There is no direct connection from this MUF to CA ENF, as ENF should be using its own IMUF running within the ENF address space.

Therefore, to start CA 7, you need to have a parent of CA ENF and the AD15MUF. ENF and AD15MUF need to have CAS9 as a parent.
