Excel Links to BlazeMeter Performance Summary Report Not Working

Issue/Introduction

Paste a Performance Test Summary report URL into an Excel cell and click on it, the following error message is displayed:

The site reports that the request is not valid

The same link pasted into Chrome, and the summary page is displayed.

Cause

In a Private Cloud environment the issue may be due to the fact that the URL used was not the shared Summary report URL.

Resolution

To assure that anyone can access a BlazeMeter Summary report by clicking on the report URL link in Excel, following the instructions in the Sharing Reports article and use the URL copied for the shared report link saved in Excel.

A shared report URL will look similar to the following:

https://a.blazemeter.com/app/?public-token=<token>#/accounts/<accountID>/workspaces/<workspaceID>/projects/<projectID>/masters/<mastersID>/summary

The highlighted qualifier in this URL indicates that the report is shared.
