Issue/Introduction

 

Fast Data Masker (FDM) file masking adds extra double quotes to the output field.
Fast Data Masker (FDM) 4.8.0.0
File masking with field separator: |
If there is a comma or a double or single quote in the field, double quotes are added to the output field.
For example: ...|"abc,def"|...
Setting IGNOREQUOTECHAR=Y does not resolve the problem.
