Issue/Introduction
Which connector is used to open a project (Open Workbench (OWB) or Microsoft Project (MSP)) if you have both installed on your client machine / workstation?
Environment
Release : All Supported Releases
Component : CA PPM MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)
Resolution
Which connector is used to open a project is based on the Scheduler Format defined for the project in Clarity:
In 15.7 and lower the Scheduler Format options available are:
Open Workbench
Microsoft Project
Starting in 15.7.1, the Scheduler Format options available are:
Open Workbench
Microsoft Project Bidirectional
This is the option that is available in all lower versions as Microsoft Project
If you are upgrading from an earlier release all projects that had a scheduler format of Microsoft Project will show this
Microsoft Project Lightweight (New in 15.7.1)
Microsoft One way (New in 15.7.1)
To check/change the Scheduler format for a project, see KB: 51879
