How do we upgrade an environment (such as dev, or prod) to the latest patch for GCP?
(Example, we would like to upgrade to patch 16.x.x.x)

For GCP, each patch is reviewed by Service Management and a determination is made whether the patch will be applied to all GCP environments
It is possible that some patches may not be installed and this is expected
Once a determination is made that a patch will be installed, you will be notified once it's scheduled for your environment. You will receive an email notification specifically for your environments
We do not recommend raising a Support case with request for a specific patch to be applied, as patches will not be applied on a "as requested" basis
Patches will only be applied after the determination is made, by the SAAS Operations team, to apply the patch
The only exception are specific patches for business impacting defects for which there is an existing Support cases and request from Support going through Support / Engineering / Service Management Approval
