Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Harvester version 10.0.2, the reaper service fails to start

Event Viewer shows errors faults of the nfrtreaper.exe.

Attempting to start the service manually yields Error 1053.

When trying to run the nfrtreaper.exe file from the commandline, we get the following error message:

However, this file exists in the NFA\Netflow\bin directory.

Cause

The system path doesn't include this bin directory so the service isn't able to load the required dll files.

Environment

Release : 10.0

Component : NQRPTA - REPORTERANALYZER

Resolution

Add <InstallFolder>\NFA\Netflow\bin to the system path and then restart the Reaper service.
