What is the procedure to enter CA Datacom SQL commands in the DDOL Interactive SQL Service Facility?

Resolution

To enter SQL commands in DDOL, the procedure is as follows:

1. Enter DDOL transaction and sign on
2. Select from the main menu option 7 - Interactive SQL Service Facility
3. Select option 1 - SQLMAINT
4. Select Option 1 - EDIT
5. Enter the name of the member that contains the SQL statements or use the default name $DDSQL
   If the member does not exist a new one is created
6. Enter the SQL statement in the numbered lines and press PF9 to execute
7. After you execute the source member, the Output Panel is displayed
