We have installed a new Clarity 15.8.1, and would like to set up a MSSQL schema. How will we proceed about this

Release : 15.8.1

To set this up with a blank schema on a new install of 15.8.1, do the following:

1. On the 15.8.1 new install, go to $clarity/database/backups, it will contain the blank schema database dumps for MSSQL and Oracle

2. Ask the DBA to restore the appropriate for your vendor backups for Clarity and DWH (total of two)

3. Once the restores are done, get the connection details from the DBA and enter it in CSA:

-Clarity connection on page Database

Hit Save and ensure the connection is Available

-Data Warehouse on page Data Warehouse

Hit Save twice and ensure the connection is Available

4. Restart the services

This should ensure that you're connecting to the new vanilla schema.
