Issue/Introduction

After installing tomcat on the backup OC box, we are unable to log into the backup OC.  The following errors show in the tomcat log file:

Aug 26, 2020 11:58:51 PM org.apache.coyote.http11.AbstractHttp11Processor process
INFO: Error parsing HTTP request header
Note: further occurrences of HTTP header parsing errors will be logged at DEBUG level.

Environment

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The server.xml was overwritten during the upgrade.

Resolution

During the upgrade the tomcat port was set to 8443.  This overwrote the non ssl connector section in the server.xml and uncommented it (while also leaving the ssl connector settings uncommented - which was also set to port 8443).  We commented out the non-ssl connector portion and restarted tomcat which resolved the issue.
