DUAS - Launcher gets stuck due a wrong uxrst call

Issue/Introduction

The Launcher is unable to run any Job at all (Jobs remain in Launch wait).
Its Next Wake Up is set 3 days in the future.

Once the Next Wake Up is reached, the jobs are running correctly.

Environment

Release : 6.X

Component : DOLLAR UNIVERSE

Cause

Wrong call of uxrst command :

uxrst [...] -lw(1200,9999)

 

This call generated a faulty line in the u_fmsb60.dta file (date was 202002099999) causing the Launcher to have a wrong Wake Up Date.

Resolution

Remove the Launch and the associated Task/Session.
Run a reorg and restart the Node in maintenance mode.
Start only the Launcher and wait for it to process the remaining Launch wait.

 

Fix will be provided in a future release (TBD) to prevent this behavior.
