Issue/Introduction

We now have login access to the production server. However, we made some changes to mainframe SAR on Sunday. Now, we get invalid repository connection error on the production server.

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1

Resolution

1. Select the Administration tab
2. Go to Repositories
3. Edit the definition of that repository
4. Rediscover DRAS.
5. Save the definition.
6. If that doesn't resolve the problem, delete that Repository definition, and then create a new one pointing to the same repository.
   
   

Additional Information

Internal Derby/AdminDB was deleted and OM Web Viewer generated a new one. Then they were able to signon on as the users\ was now being picked up as the administrator from the WVProfile.properties file, ADMINISTRATO.DefaultAdminID entry they'd made earlier. They then added additional users, also making then Admins. The last step (the one that restored functionality) was to create the repository definition. An external user tested and verified.
