Issue/Introduction

How to collect browser logs, request data for Release Automation ROC Issues.

Environment

Release : 6.6, 6.7 or higher

Component : CA RELEASE AUTOMATION RELEASE OPERATIONS CENTER

Resolution

Please try to recreate this issue and collect information from Web browser as below( Below screen shots are more aligned to Chrome Browser, but you will find equivalent in most browser)

  • Open a new tab in browser if already login to ROC please logout once
  • Open the Login page of ROC in new Tab.
  • Now press F12 key on browser which will open the developer tools in browser
  • Provide username and password and login to ROC.
  • Try to recreate the issue you are facing and check if in developer console there are any error. In case of error in browser console, please copy any console error and share with us.

For the same above error in the developer console go to Network and select XHR request and take a screen shot of requests.

In above look specifically for *overall request as below  and right click on each to save the response as HAR and share with us those files.
