How to download the CA IDEAL 15.1 product pax file only without related products.

Resolution

To download just the pax file for CA IDEAL 15.1 follow the following steps:

• Sign in to https://support.broadcom.com/
• Click on Mainframe Software
• Click on Product Downloads
• In Search Your Product type IDEAL and select IDEAL from the list
• Find in the list CA Ideal for z/OS Plus MSU MVS and change release to 15.1, SERVICEPACK should be 0000
• Then click on the product name, not the download icons to the right otherwise you will get all related products as well.
• Go to the second page
• Find the following file in the list:
  CA Ideal for CA Datacom for z/OS 15.1 0000 Complete
  DVD500000000002704.pax.Z
  Jul 30 2019 1:57PM
• Download that file using one of the icons to the right (Cart, Download or FTP).
  It is 5.25 MB (5,515,776 bytes) in size.
