Issue/Introduction

Description:

After upgrading to CA Common Services v14.0 or r14.1, CCITCP and/or CCITCPGW may fail with a S806 abend; either CAS9ATPS and/or CAS9ATGS cannot be found.

Solution:

Beginning with CA Common Services v14.0, programs CAS9ATGS and CAS9ATPS were replaced by CAS9PDGM and CAS9PDPM respectively. These new programs used by CCITCP/CCITCPGW support IPv6 which uses function getaddrinfo function to retrieve its information. CAS9ATGS and CAS9ATPS supported IPv4 which used function gethostbyname.

Use the CCITCP and/or CCITCPGW procs from CAW0PROC. CCITCP executes PGM=CAS9PDGM while CCITCPGW executes PGM=CAS9PDPM. These programs are found in the CAW0PLD library. This library must be apf-authorized and linklisted.

These same programs are used to run in SSL mode depending upon the setting of the UNSECON parm in the respective proc. Separate procs in CAW0PROC are delivered if SSL is required. The associated members are CCISSL and CCISSLGW.
