Issue/Introduction

We're able to log into XOG through a properties file, but the "logon" command is failing.

Environment

Release : 15.8.1

Component : CA PPM APPLICATION

Resolution

When issuing the XOG login command, if you're accessing from a remote server, you must include the server name (or IP) and port you are connecting to.

The syntax of the login would look like:

login username/[email protected]:port

Replace all the values above with the values for your environment.

If the hostname and port are not specified, it will assume the server is on the location host on port 80.
