LDAP error ACF02020 HAS NO MUSASS UPDATE AUTHORITY

Issue/Introduction

Setting up full read/write connections with LDAP gets the following error message:

 
[LDAP: error code 80 - LDP0406E ACF2 error modifying lid(ACF02020 DELETE/CHANGE/INSERT LOGONID REQUEST DENIED - USER001 HAS NO MUSASS UPDATE AUTHORITY)]

LDAP01 has MUSASS.  What is the problem?

Resolution

If an address space with MUSASS tries to do an update to the ACF2 databases, then MUSUPDT is needed with the logonid.  As with any bit changes made to a logonid record, the address space needs to be re-cycled.  Stop and restart the LDAP server to pick up the MUSUPDT change.
