How to recreate the iAuthority.conf file

Issue/Introduction

Description:

When iAuthority.conf file is corrupted or missing it results in to given error message while trying to access Embedded Entitlement Manager or Workload Control Center Portal.

 

 Error: EE_SPONSORERROR iSponsor Error
 ISP_ERROR_NOISPONSOR isponsor not installed

Resolution

 

Solution:

1. Copy over the iAuthority.conf file from a identical version of EEM Server.
   
   
2. Once you copy over the iAuthority.conf file clear the contents from "<TrustedRoot>" till "</TrustedRoot>" including the tags.
   
   
3. The needed entries will be regenerated as soon as EEM (iGateway and DXServer) is started on the problem server.
