How to replace/install Xtraction licenses

Issue/Introduction

This document provides the steps on how to replace/install Xtraction licenses

Environment

Xtraction (all versions)

All Supported Windows Operating Systems

Resolution

1.  Once the Xtraction licenses have been received, unzip the file(s)

2.  Copy and paste the files to the Xtraction server as below:

a.  Paste xtraction.lic file in the following folder:

Program Files (x86)\Xtraction Software\Xtraction\Data\Configuration

Or if updated from prior releases

Program Files (x86)\Hagrid Software\Xtraction\Data\Configuration

b.  Paste datamodeleditor.lic file in the following folder:

Program Files (x86)\Xtraction Software\Xtraction\Tools

Or if updated from prior releases

Program Files (x86)\Hagrid Software\Xtraction\Tools

3.  Restart the IIS service

4.  Log in to Xtraction to confirm the license details by clicking ABOUT from the Xtraction UI to ensure that the license changes have taken effect
