Issue/Introduction

You would like to install a new release of Symantec Cloud Workload Protection for Azure, and want to know how to accomplish this with the help of ARM Templates.

Resolution

 

You can install the newest release of the product to take advantage of new features. To install a new version of the software, you must perform certain tasks to ensure a successful install. The other supported way is via Azure MarketPlace .  Note: This process is specific to installing the software in environments and different versions templates install different functionalities.

 

To perform the fresh install, download the attached “ARM Template” and perform the ARM based installation.

ARM Templates are version specific, so download ARM corresponding to the CWPS version you want to install.
