Issue/Introduction

In DX Netops Performance Management, if there are multiple data collectors in one IP Domain, and one Data Collector is down, will the devices automatically move to another Data Collector?

Environment

Release : 3.7, 20.2

Component : IM Polling

Resolution

Devices would not be moved automatically when one data collector is down.

You can manually rebalance devices as noted here:

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/dx-netops/20-2/Performance-Monitoring-with-DX-Performance-Management/administrating/data-aggregator-administration/rebalance-the-load-on-data-collector.html

This would be an enhancement request that can be raised as an idea as follows;
