Issue/Introduction

Some Resource managers cannot pull actuals for month of July. It appears there is no data for them while there is data for other resource managers. When I go to staffing view in New UX, I notice allocation for resources of these resource managers until June. Data in the Project Actuals by Task portlet is not matching what we see in the New User Experience (UX) Timesheet Grid

Cause

This can be due to modifications needed in the filter criteria for the Project Actuals by Task portlet and the Timesheet Grid to have the data match.

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS TIME MANAGEMENT

Resolution

Update the filter criteria between the Project Actuals by Task portlet and New UX Timesheet grid to get the data to match.

One example scenario below:

For the Project Actuals by Task portlet:

  1. Ensure Include Other Work is set to Yes
  2. Task Date Start field contains the first day of the first time period being reviewed (IE 7/5/2020)
  3. Task Date end field contains the last day of the last time period being reviewed (IE 8/1/2020)
  4. Populate the Resource Manager (to filter on one specific resource manager)

Then ensure the Timesheet Grid is filtering on similar results:

  1. Status = Posted
  2. Resource Manager = the resource manager being reviewed
  3. Time Period, include all time periods by checking each time period (example: 2020-07-05, 2020-07-12, 2020-07-19, 2020-07-26)
