API Gateway: Slow Startup of Gateway Appliance

Issue/Introduction

The GW appliance is slow to boot up.

[root@host ~]# systemd-analyze blame      
5min 6.503s layer7-run-once-on-boot.service

 

Environment

API Gateway: 10.0

Cause

This behavior occurs after applying the July 2020 MPP.

Resolution

1. Take a snapshot of your VM
2. Run command: cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
3. Run command: ./layer7-run-once-on-boot (this will take a couple minutes to execute)
4. Run command: reboot -n

The node should boot up fairly quickly.
