Issue/Introduction

SYSVIEW R160 DLLIST MVSTHRESH datalib (cnm4bdat) value not updated after edit of THRESH. From the THRESH command, I have updated the TRIGLVL from STATUS to CHANGE, but when I followup with the DLLIST, I do not see the update reflected.

When/how does the DATALIB (CNM4BDAT) get the update??

Resolution

The customer was attempting to save THRESH command threshold changes for MVS that appeared not to be saved. His change process was reviewed and it was determined that the change was being saved into a different DATALIB than the one that he was reviewing for the change.

The SYSVIEW DATALIB's are identified by the Bld value on the DLLIST (DATALIB list) command panel as follows:

SYSVIEW 16.0     Bld value of 990
SYSVIEW 15.0     Bld value of 980
SYSVIEW 14.2     Bld value of 960

Any THRESH values that are saved will appear in the DATALIB for the SYSVIEW release that they are using.   The customer was using SYSVIEW 16.0 so the correct MVSTHRSH DATALIB member to review with the DLLIST command would have been the one with a Bld value of 990.
