CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

CA PAM Client is installed by Administrator Privileged Account to "C:\Program Files (x86)\CA PAM Client" folder.

When a Windows Domain Standard User launches the PAM Client it does not launch at all.

Environment

Release : ANY

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Cause

When the PAM Client is installed under the "Program Files (x86)" folder it usually is a permission issue that blocks it from launching.

Resolution

Standard user will need permission to create/write into "CA PAM Client" folder.

Give full permission to the machine's "Users" group then the PAM Client will launch.
