Issue/Introduction

Data set on z/OS LRECL=800.  Is it possible to truncate and send only first 400 characters of the record to XCOM for Windows?

Resolution

You can send a portion of your file using SYSIN01 LRECL and TRUNCATE parameters by setting TRUNCATE=YES and LRECL=400.
