Issue/Introduction

Certain configuration items can cause unexpected results when configuring cdm (enhanced profiles). Below are the recommend setting when setting a group up with a cdm (enhanced) mcs configuration.

Environment

Release: 20.3+
Component : UIM - MON_CONFIG_SERVICE

Resolution

Controller on each machine needs to be set with:

-Set specific name [override]
-Set QoS source to robot name instead of computer hostname (checked)

Settings in Setup cdm (Enhanced) of the mcs configuration

Under General Alarms and QoS Metrics Settings

-Send Short Name for QoS Source (checked)
-Allow QoS Source as Target (checked)

Under General Settings for CPU Monitoring

-Set QoS Target as Total (unchecked)

Under General Settings for Memory Monitoring

-Set QoS Target as Total (unchecked)
