Issue/Introduction

'SQL DUMP WARNING: SQL ERROR CODE = -126 DURING BIND' error messages found daily in the PXXSQL01 log.   These messages are being generated by the daily CEM maintenance job which includes the CEMTTYPG step to perform rebinds.    The step called REBIND runs with condition code 0000 and does not generate any error messages other than the previously mentioned DUMP WARNING - SQL ERROR CODE -126 messages.    Should this be of concern?

Cause

These messages are generated when the Datacom  DBUTLTY process needs to dynamically augment a statement object area workspace to satisfy the bind/rebind.

Resolution

The 'SQL DUMP WARNING: SQL ERROR CODE = -126 DURING BIND' messages are benign.  These messages indicate the 'bind' process needed to dynamically allocate a larger statement object area workspace to successfully perform the bind/rebind.

Additional Information

Run this modify command against CEM's MUF to clear out the records in the PXXSQL01
