CA Application Performance Management Agent (APM / Wily / Introscope) INTROSCOPE

Provides information on whether Post Parameters can be used for URL grouping and\or for decorating info in a Transaction Trace.

Introscope allows use of HTTP Request parameters in a transaction for display in a Transaction Trace. This can be done by using these Introscope agent parameters:

to use in URL Grouping feature for organizing statistics for a URL group in Investigator under metric names that reflect the value of a parameter associated with requests, defining the following:format parameter{query_param:param}

(see APM Java Agent Guide for details on both parameters)

Note that with the current design this support is only provided for Query Parameters not for POST parameters.

For example, in the HTTP Request URL http://host:port/URL?value1=34&value2=34 value1 and value2 are query parameters whose value can be used by Agent
