Issue/Introduction

Getting the following error trying to reload a file from an ESFSPTP backup:

ERROR==>           121212  #USER2QQ PRTXX5J1 STD  ASIS A   1      6421      14:15:50.8 10-OPEN-

Resolution

This error "10-OPEN-" may occur if the BUFSIZE parameter value of the CA Spool subsystem that is receiving the file is smaller than the BUFSIZE parameter value of the origin CA Spool.

Changing the value of BUFSIZE requires a FORMAT start of the CA Spool subsystem. A FORMAT start purges all files currently in spool.
