Is the hexadecimal ENCRYPT key value case sensitive in ESP?

Resolution

No, Encrypt key in ESP is not case sensitive.

 

The key values in the ENCRYPT parameter for MANAGER, AGENT and ENCRYPT commands will always be translated to uppercase.

Also ENCRYPT key in WSSPARM and key value for CRYPTKEY are converted to uppercase.
