Able to see EPAgent metrics. 

Not seeing Siteminder Policy Server Metrics 

Cause

ca_ps_env.ksh was not sourced.

Installation and Configuration on Policy Server (Linux)

Configuration
Configure CA APM for CA SSO on Policy Server for Linux by entering the XPSConfig in the system console and following the prompts.
Follow these steps:
  • Make sure EPAgent is up and running. 
  • Source the environment variable available in Policy Server directory
    /siteminder/ca_ps_env.ksh
    .

      To source, run this command from Policy Server directory/siteminder/

          source ca_ps_env.ksh 

  • Run
    ./XPSConfig
    and enter
    XPS
    on the first menu.
     
    A list of parameters with descriptions and current values displays after you enter XPS
  • Enter the index of the parameter for which you want to change the value. For example, selection 5 - "AuditSMHandlers", of this case. If the current value is set to ‘
    libEventIntroscopeprovider.so
    ’, then it is properly configured.
     
    Jump to step 6 to complete the process.
  • Enter
    c 
    to change the value.
  • Enter the value -
    libEventIntroscopeprovider.so
    , when you are prompted for a new value.
  • Enter
    q 
    and press
    Enter 
    to quit the tool.
  • Start the Policy Server service by running ./start-all or Policy Server Management Console.
  • Restart EPAgent
