Issue/Introduction

CA IDMS running IDMSDDDL fails with error:

DC601997  CA-ENDEVOR/DB SPECIAL ERROR STATUS CODE 0895

Component : CA IDMS DB

Resolution

The 0895 error indicates the dictionary is controlled by CA Endevor/DB and it rejected the change.
 
The xx95 error codes are in the documentation section CA Endevor/DB Special Error Status Codes:

xx95 - CA Endevor/DB rejected the change of an entity. Go to the CDMSLOG to see error.

If there is no other information in the IDMSDDDL output check if PTF RO79363 is applied, it will show more information on the reason for the error:


RO79363 - CA ENDEVOR/DB FLOWERBOX DOES NOT DISPLAY FOR IDMSDDDL 

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                                
When CA Endevor/DB blocks an update attempt in IDD, additional      
details about why the update attempt was blocked do not appear.

Also ensure the library where the PTF is applied is in the batch job STEPLIB.
