TLMS Tape Management

Issue/Introduction

Multifile volume are not scratched even though the keep date has been reached.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA TLMS Tape Management

Resolution

If the retention rule for these files is 3 or C, this means CATALOG and KEEP DATE;  so the volume will not go scratch unless the volume is both past the keep date and uncataloged.
As the SCRATCH=CDS , the CDS by default is 1 and the keep date is in the past, the volume will be scratched once the first file of the volume is uncataloged.

To get all the DSNs that are under catalog control , a TLMS044 report TLMS044,ALL,1,3 should be run, followed by the FORECAST.
