Issue/Introduction

Does the shared secret from the token get passed back and forth between TSS and the RSA server to ensure that the response TSS receives is actually from the RSA server?

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

Yes! Both the server's IP address and Shared Secret are utilized in communication with the RSA server (via TCP IP) for each logon authentication.
